Protest meeting against the terrorist attack on Abul Asad, editor of the Daily Sangram and intense condemnation and protest of his office vandalism in Bangladesh.

London-based expatriate Bangladeshi human rights organization 'Stand for Bangladesh' has condemned and protested on December 7 2019 on behalf of the Bangladeshi expatriate Bangladeshis on December 6 in sharp condemnation and protest of the brutal attacks and vandalism of terrorists and abuses of the country's senior journalist and editor of the Daily Sangram.

The chairman of the organization and former Student leader Mohammad Mazharul Islam Bhayan presided over the meeting and was presided over by Secretary Md. Tariqul Islam was the chief guest at the protest. Besides, the protest meeting was organized in presence of local and foreign journalists including TV channels of Bangladesh.

Chairman of the Stand for Bangladesh said, "I do not know the language of condemning the savagery and brutality of the terrorists who attacked an elderly senior editor, Abul Asad, on Friday, December 13 2019." The struggle surrounds the office. But, the police did not take any action or even by the security office in Bangladesh. Then, in the evening, the Awami Terrorists launched a massive attack and vandalism in the daily struggle office. But later, the police did not arrest the terrorists and arrested editor Abul Asad. The attack, which took place for so long and the irresponsible behaviour of the police, proved that the attack was carried out at the behest of the pre-planned and fascist government. A similar attack on a media office unveiled the perverted nature of the fascist government to the nation one more time. This barbarism cannot be imagined in any civilized society or country. I say the Awami terrorists are running an unprecedented ordeal of savagery and barbarism as a result of direct alcoholism by the government and the police. I strongly condemn and condemn all disgruntled AL terrorists for this heinous and blasphemous act. You know, before this, the Awami terrorists also executed a brutal attack on the acting editor of the Daily Amar Desh Mahmudur Rahman and made him bloody. But there has been no trial. These attacks have been carried out not only on a particular person or organization but also on the entire media of the country. I immediately demand the release of Abul Asad, a veteran journalist, and the arrest and appropriate trial of the attackers.

Speaking to the chief guest, journalist KM Abu Taher said, thus, freedom of expression was taken away in Bangladesh by arresting an elderly man. I urge the government to release it quickly and call on all journalists to come forward.

The secretary of the organization, Md. Tariqul Islam said that no civilized society can accept the fact that the old editor of the daily Sangbad newspaper, Abul Asad, was unfairly dragged and taken to the police station with terrorist activities. He will have to be released immediately or the movement of journalists from all over the world will be released. At the same time, he called on the government to arrest the Awami terrorists and ensure speedy punishment.

Speaking to the special guest at the protest meeting, Joint Secretary of Peach for Bangladesh Md. Mahin Khan said that the brutal attacks by Awami Terrorists on the ageing and dignified editor of the daily struggle are reprehensible and condemnable. "

Special guest journalist and Secretary-General of Universal Voice for Justice Shakil Uddin and others spoke at the protest meeting. They are Assistant Secretary of the organization Belal Hossain Mollah, Organizing Secretary Mohammed Masudul Hasan, IT secretary Md Tareque Aziz Roman, Mohammad Bashir Ahmed, Mohammed Shoaibur Rahman, Khairul Islam, Raihan Chowdhury, UK Journalist Association treasurer, Saeed Jamal, White Pigeon Chairman Mohammad Ala Uddin, President of Online Activist Forum Md Joynal Abedin and secretary Md Delowar Hossain, Ishtiaq Hossain Rana, Monir Uddin, Mohammad Sharifuzzaman, Karim Mia, Md Golam Morshed,
